Scope:
Added new kitchen from scratch to the existing structure, gutted and renovated bathrooms, and converted a bedroom into a library.
Description:
Faced with the challenge of updating their 1950s bungalow, these homeowners asked us to create a new, clean, and functional living space. First on the list was a request to display many unusual and sentimental treasures curated from their travels around the globe, as well as space for entertaining. Re:Creations, Inc., completely remodeled the kitchen, adding new windows surrounded by custom cabinetry and display shelves, a 15ft. ceiling and clerestory awning windows and a separate wet bar and wine storage area. Professional appliances make this kitchen a home chef’s dream.
Two bathrooms were remodeled to maintain the original charm of the home while using custom tile, fixtures, and art from the homeowner’s travels. The powder bath features a custom hand-laid mosaic pattern tile floor.
Finally, the library is not to be missed. It features custom bookshelves painted with non-toxic paints, the original windows restored to provide tons of natural light, and an ambiance that makes you want to sit and stay awhile.
